For lunch there is always a soup of the day .......with roll and butter: There is usually a quiche - such as tomato and gruyere or basil, mushroom, bacon and marjoram, made with herbs from the garden: and a variety of sandwiches. All usually around the £5 mark.

Beverages £1.95.

For tea (or even lunch!) we have a selection of really good home made cakes - the coffee and walnut is to die for - and, of course, scones and jam. We also stock the most delicious ice creams from Just Rachel at £1.70 - how can you resist such temptations as Gooseberry & Elderflower, Honeycomb, Butterscotch & Orange Liqueur, Damson & Sloe Gin, Plum, Cinnamon & Amaretto....... mmmmm.

The coffee pot is always available and there are a variety of Twinings teas, local apple juices and elderflower presse.

All our food is from locally sourced produce and seasonal where possible.

The Garden Room Seating around the Mill Pond

Please bring your own wine, we can supply wine but at the cost of the temporary licence we would have to get.

We can seat 12/15 people the Garden Room, and a further 12 or so in a small marquee on the terrace. There are plenty of seats in the garden, and the Crown Hotel at the top of the lane welcomes larger groups.
